Located in the southwest of France, the city of Limoges hosts a brand new BURO Club business center. The opening occurred at the beginning of November. Headed by Alexandre Vergne, a manager trained by experienced BURO Club members, the structure should soon become the talk of the town.

In Limoges, "we don’t necessarily know" BURO Club’s solutions, estimates Alexandre Vergne, manager of the city’s business center. With 135,098 inhabitants (2013 Insee study’s figures), the place may have to be tamed. "It's a pretty innovative concept for the city. At first, our goal is to make ourselves known", explains the 29 year-old man. It is quite a young age to drive the rental of serviced offices, meeting rooms, a coworking space as well as all the BURO Club services that we know. These include virtual offices, mail management and personalized reception. When broached on the topic of his youth, Alexandre Vergne responded, amused: "I haven’t been wasting any time so far".

Business centers’ spread

He has not wasted his time, this is the least we can say about this jurist in business law, also graduated from a Parisian business school. But then, how does one end up in the business centers’ field, so quickly after his studies? "My first professional experience was to manage a hundred student housing units in Limoges." Promoting this family business was educative and empowering. "I found myself with vacant premises, those of the former business court. The offices were well appointed, providing a perfect opportunity to create a business center. Especially since it is an activity in full development", exposes the young man.

"I heard about BURO Club and I felt interested. I noticed that this network is growing rapidly and I guess it will continue this way. The solutions BURO Club offers are interesting for all types of workers." After a six months preparation, Limoges’ center opened its doors at the beginning of November. Limoges’ urban area and its 96 municipalities gather more than 280,000 inhabitants, making it the first economic place in the west-center region of France. The varied and flexible professional solutions developed by the French leader of independent business centers are welcomed. They will contribute to the dynamism of the Haute-Vienne department.

In-house training, a BURO Club specialty

Several offices are already rent and others are about to follow. Meanwhile, Alexandre Vergne is refining his apprenticeship with BURO Club senior members. "I spent some time in Bordeaux Quinconces business center, with Isabelle Durdon, its director. As a great professional, she showed me its internal working. In particular, I stayed at the reception and visited the administrative department", he recalls.

The young man then joined Didier Coppi, BURO Club sales, marketing and development director. He informed the new manager about the commercial aspects of the activity. But that's not all. At the time of our interview, Alexandre Vergne was preparing to welcome Nicolas Fallet, the key accounts manager. He will also play his part in Vergne’s apprenticeship by observing the structure and submitting possible improvements. "We will meet the local players together in order to make the center well known", states Alexandre Vergne.

It’s a successful and exciting start-up phase for this new BURO Club-stamped center. "On the 24th of November, I will attend the next BURO Club seminar which gathers all the partners. It will take place in Le Mans business center. This will be a great opportunity to talk about the network’s evolution and to strengthen our cohesion. When you begin – and even after – it’s very interesting to interact with more experienced people. BURO Club members are particularly opened to the sharing of knowledge", concludes Limoges manager, to whom we wish well for the future!
