• Toulouse, through which the « Canal du Midi » runs, is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It is the capital city of the Midi-Pyrénées region and is often called “the Pink city » because of its typical houses constructed from burnt bricks. Its conurbation has a total population of 850.000 inhabitants. Toulouse is the historic, cultural and business centre of Haute Garonne. A genuine European techno polis, it hosts many companies from various industries such as aeronautics, IT and aerospace. It is the N°3 French city in terms of students with more than 97.000 students.

 Compans Caffarelli business district

• The business centre is located in Compans business district on the outskirts of the Compans Caffarelli park which covers 10 hectares. Compans-Caffarelli is a district built in Toulouse city centre, between the Lascrosses Boulevard and the “de la Marquette” boulevard along the « Canal du Midi » on the grounds of the former military compounds of the same name (as a tribute to Compans and Caffarelli generals). It is a regional business district with more than 200000 sqm for offices, hotels and housings. Many companies have settled in this district, attracted by its location between the historical centre and the ring road heading towards the airport, and by the modernity of the district. Since 2007 and the implementation of Toulouse subway B line, the district is served by the Compans Caffarelli stop.
