The Arval company - a BNP Paribas subsidiary - is the French leader of long-term rental vehicles. In November 2015, the firm purchased its American rival: General Electric Fleet Services. During the absorption process, Arval had to find office space solutions for employees affected by the buyout. This is how Nantes Gare - Cité des Congrès BURO Club’s business center was chosen. Sébastien Denaire, business development engineer from General Electric, gives his feedback over the changes he has been through.

When did you discover BURO Club’s serviced offices?

I discovered BURO Club at the time of General Electric Fleet Services’ buyout (250 co-workers in France). In Nantes, we were three employees concerned by the move. Arval contacted BURO Club and I was quickly setup in the city’s business center. In addition to my office, I often enjoy the meeting rooms and customer areas the center offers.

Could you say a few words about your task?

I’m in charge of Arval’s fleet development in three regions: Bretagne, Pays de la Loire and Centre-Val de Loire. We offer long-term and multi-brand car rental to small and medium-sized companies as well as large international groups.

How are your relationships with the business center’s staff?

I remember arriving in full buyout period and being very well received. BURO Club offers top-quality services. Whatever I need, I ask Sébastien Hue, center’s director, or Angélique Bazin who works at the reception. They work very well together. Also, they make efforts to enable us meeting other workers from the center, creating events such as Beaujolais wine tastings or office breakfasts all together.
