Created in 2001, PMGS (Project Management Global Solutions) has its headquarters in Paris. The international company, which also has a Canadian branch in Montreal, is specialized in project management training and consulting.
Stéphane Derouin is the founder and president of PMGS. To answer our questions, Valérie Francisco - Administrative and Financial Director - made herself available.
What are your missions at PMGS?
I am the administrative and financial director of PMGS since May 2012. In addition to that, I am in charge of our independent stakeholders’ network - we have about 30 of them – as well as some key accounts.
We rent an office in Paris, in the BURO Club business center of Paris République. We also rent serviced offices in the Rennes and Reims centers. We are in charge of activities in the Europe, Middle-East and Africa zone.
Tell us about PMGS...
Our activity is vast as we train project managers, in all business fields. Their capacities range from communication to leadership through conflict management. We also offer trainings for several PMI ® certifications: CAPM®, PMP®, ACP® Agile, PgMP®.
PMGS provides advice and training in over 25 countries and in eight languages. Sometimes we train in BURO Club business centers. If necessary, we rent a serviced office or a meeting room. This system is practical.
Is this full-time office space solution satisfying you?
I am very satisfied and I find this formula perfectly adapted. Previously, we rented a place of 200 sqm, avenue de l'Opéra. But today, we often have to move and we no longer need a permanent office. The rental of a serviced office is a good compromise.
Communication with the staff is very easy; there is a real exchange, which I particularly appreciate. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the entire team of Paris République’s Buro Club as well as Paris Levallois’ for their professionalism, efficiency, availability, kindness and smiles! It is nice to work in these premises and I will recommend it, as much as the Paris Levallois business center that I also know well.
