Astrid Brucker - CEO of GUYA Cadeau - has chosen to rent a virtual office in the BURO Club Guyane Business Center. The company innovates across the Atlantic by developing concepts of gift certificates and leisure boxes. GUYA Cadeau celebrates its 10th anniversary today, which gives us the opportunity to ask a few questions to its founder to discover the recipe for its success.

Why did you choose to import these concepts into French Guyana?

The gift world is in perfect harmony with my personality. It is also worth mentioning that local supply was rather weak. Today, GUYA Cadeau is the first issuer of gift certificates in the DOM-TOM (Overseas territories of France). More than 100,000 vouchers are sold each year to individuals and businesses.

Can you tell us more about your offer?

Our Guyanese gift voucher is redeemable throughout French Guyana with 360 partners. We also offer leisure boxes and management software customized for works councils. Simply put: beneficiary employees can increase their purchasing power with GUYA Checks!

Why did you choose a business center to host your company?

In May 2015, we chose BURO Club as a relay to smoothen our activity peak during the holidays, such as Christmas or Mothers/Fathers’ Day. The flow is so massive that we do not have the ability to deliver all customers on time. Thanks to BURO Club, we are able to provide our customers with the option to withdraw their order below 2000€ directly in the business center. Thus, we always find a way to make gift certificates available for the big day.

Reception is a key element in our activity because it allows to retain our customers and to convey a good image thanks to word-of-mouth.
